Creating videos has the potential for you to drive massive amount of traffic to your website but you need to take note of the following pointers.

Video marketing like article marketing or any form of internet marketing requires for your prospects or potential clients to search with keywords or key phrases.

Therefore it is essential that you know what kind of keyword or key phrase is your market typing in the search engine to look for solution or service provider. In video marketing, it is most commonly referred to tags which is essentially keywords or key phrases.

That is something important that you may want to take note. The next point is your video type. What I mean is that your video content like copywriting needs to capture your prospects attention.

You can utilize the AIDA concept which means attention, interest, desire and action. Or simply make use of one of the suggestions provided here, for example humour, horror, mysterious, thrilling and along these themes that tugs the curiosity strings in your target market. That’s point two and again, you want to make it as captivating as possible and as seductive as possible.

Another point that can boost your traffic is posting your videos to multiple high traffic video sharing sites. Many of you are just aware of YouTube, in fact there are more out there.

High traffic video sharing sites include that of Google video portal, Yahoo video portal, viddler, revver, blip, metacafe, dailymotion, blip and so many more. Just go ahead and post your videos in the appropriate categories and if your video provides good information, then naturally people will watch and want to learn from you more.

One of the most important thing that you can do is to actually have something what I call the video squeeze page where you use the video as your 24/7 salesman, because it is more personal and it engages more or less then five senses of your prospects.

What you want to do is to paste a form where you can capture the name and email address because these are vital information where you can use to follow up with them and to educate them and basically in a blunt term, sell what you feel is valuable to them.

Like I say there are so many ways and loop holes where you can leverage on the power of video marketing to boost your website traffic.
